As we age, we often begin to have trouble seeing things as clearly as we used to. This is often due to a condition called presbyopia. Presbyopia usually sets in after the age of 40, and can make objects and print appear increasingly blurry when viewed up close. Our San Diego ophthalmologists at the Gordon & Weiss Vision Institute can give you effective treatment for presbyopia and help you see more clearly.
Presbyopia is a common condition that can even occur in people who have had no vision problems in the past. Typically associated with aging, presbyopia can make it extremely difficult to focus on up-close objects, and severe forms of the condition can even lead to headaches, pain, and exhaustion. Reading and focusing on objects at night becomes more difficult, and sometimes even dangerous when trying to see road conditions or signs while driving.
At Gordon & Weiss Vision Institute we feel there are many ways of correcting aging vision. Explore some of your options below, or give us a call to schedule a consultation.
